Project Details

I was hired by Bestfoods to capture packaging imagery for a new frozen food brand named Discover-In, scheduled for launch in Tesco UK in September 2023. I collaborated closely with the Discover-In team and a creative agency called 'WeCan' to produce the necessary shots for both packaging and the website.

Photographing packaging requires a specialized skill set. It involves showcasing the product's appeal without giving customers false impressions of its quality, size, or any other attributes. In this project, my goal was to photograph the products in a manner that allowed the design agency to seamlessly incorporate text, product titles, and other elements. Ensuring a precise understanding of the image's final intended use was paramount. Technically I shot the images using sketch overlays that allow me to position the food exactly where the client wanted it. You can see the final packaging design in the images above.
